We have decided to stay nearby the airport then we found this hotel in budget price. About 5 mins by taxi from the pier. Room was big enough for 3 of us but the AC didnt work well. Reception and room maid were very helpful and welcome (I dont know their names, we arrived at 14:00 on Feb 1). There is Thai restaurant nearby in walking distance. The beach street is just behind the hotel where you can find some bar (no alcohol) to relax.
Only 15 mins to the airport but you have to walk about 10 mins to the bus stop. Bus to the airpory will come every 30 mins, easy.

when we arrive at airport, we have kind greeting, have picked up by ui hotel staff. Then Welcoming drink. Next day in the morning we went to cinnamon resort by boat, adventure trip with professional and humble guide @ramzan to explore and enjoy the trip on sandbank, snorkeling, dolphin, himafushi island and so many another amazing activities. Last day, we went to male city to bought some souvenirs and walking around to see the museum, fish market, etc. "Maldives is the best place for honeymoon"

Our flight to Male will arrive before 9pm, after an 18hr layover in SG. Since it will be very late to catch the boat to Maafushi, we scouted for a cheap accomodation in Hulhumalé. Bases on blogposts, UI Inn is always the recommendation.
Now we know why ð
The inn is about 2-3mins walk away from the first bus stop from the airport. Just remember to tell the conductor before you board that you are getting off near UI. Seems like its famous since they know.
When arrived and showed our reservation but told the manager 1 friend bailed out but we're still getting 2 rooms. (I alone am staying in 1room) Sensing the dilemma, the manager offered to move me to a single bed room! Yey! Saved a few bucks there. However, single bed rooms are on the main inn and by wifey-hubby friends need to be on another buidling. So my friend told the manager right away to take care of me. Haha!
My roomas on the third floor so it was a bit of a workout for me. When I got to room..i was amazed! Got an AC, fan, towel, tv with cable, body wash, cabinet, bottled water too!
I didnt waste time to settle myself and got ready for bed.
Its near the beach but not facing the beach but its ok. The blanket was thin (thought it was a bed sheet) but since im the only 1, i turned the AC high and didnt need the blanket anymore.
When morning came, i readies myself, dragged my suitcase down and went to the 2nd bldg where my friends are and the bfast.
The bfast wasnt super wow but can fill ur tummy. Good thing they got toast, french toast, bread and fruits. Those were enough for me to get by.
My friends and i had to scoot out early and catch that '8am' ferry ride, as told by the manager ð which, in reality, 730am, as per the ferry ticket girls clarified and missed it by 30mins. (Again, no ferries on Fridays)

We stayed here and guided by Mr Ramzan. He's nice and very helpful. Do not hesitate to ask him for help. We recommended you to stay here too because the room is clean and the receptionist was very helpful.

Ui inn hotel is clean and provides a really comfort place to stay and great hospitality.
Staffs are really friendly and very helpful, they will guide u through out your stay. Recommended hotel if you are looking for a budget stay in maldives.
