Built in a heritage style, the rooms are spacious and nicely appointed though each one varies a bit. Make sure to request a balcony. The bathrooms have beautiful dark marble trim. The beds were comfortable and everything worked! The location, though not right in the downtown area is convenient enough. The staff is helpful and cheerful. The buffet breakfast is ample but not gourmet. They aim to please and I was.

It was a nice change from the modern, sleek style hotels you typically book. The decor and interior furnishings were wonderful. Our room was very comfortable and had painted ceilings. We overlooked the street of the local neighborhood. Because it did not sit on a busy street the hotel was very quiet. There is a small neighborhood and local shopping area within a few minutes walk. The rooftop dining was especially nice. The food was delicious and even more special by sitting at tented tables.

The few days that we spent in Jaipur were made all the more enjoyable because of the very comfortable stay at Umaid Mahal and the extraordinary friendliness and indulgence of the staff. Keep it up and thanks very much.

The hotel is a gem inside. It is full of Mughal paintings and decorations very well maintained. The staff very nice and all the amenities you need for a nice stay in Jaipur. The breakfast buffet is delicious.

We thought this was a real old Haveli but it's not,,,outlandish in decor but friendly staff and good facilities. The rooms are spacious would advise a room on 2/3rd floor as we were ground level and it was noisy.
The roof top restaurant is ok but not much view, they had dancing and music at night.food ok.
Breakfast was good, but served downstairs in a rather gloomy restaurant.
