Room was very dirty lots of bugs very dated and tired and they charge 5 star rates could of stayed at much better places for actually less money had burn holes in lounges arm rests worn-out on lounges did not make up room every day,Towels were old, spa was empty, kids game room locked the 3 days we were there had to talk the family to stay because we had prepaid as they wanted to change to another hotel. DON'T STAY HERE

We chose this motel due to its proximity to town and what seemed to be a reasonable price for Rotorua. It was also rated 4 stars so we thought that sounded good. We wonder how this motel got its rating- maybe having both mineral pools and a swimming pool help? Overall the property looks tired and had messy gardens. We did appreciate the owner actually showing us the facilities and taking us to our room. Our room was quite spacious and it also had a separate kitchen with both a stove and a microwave which was good to have for our three night stay. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. While clean the room looked tired and the pale pink walls were not flattering. We were surprised to see paint splatters covering the coffee table- this could have been easily fixed. The wifi reception was excellent.

This motel is very old and very much in need of refurbishing. The rooms looked and felt dirty due to the age. The tap fixtures were rusty and the overall appearance was terrible. We wanted to leave but couldnât because the owner demanded payment as soon as we arrived. Once we saw the room, we knew why. There was no air conditioning and whilst the rooms were non smoking other guests were sitting out the front of the rooms smoking constantly. It was disgusting. With the amount of accommodation available in Rotorua you will easily find somewhere much better. Cannot recommend.

This accomodation is very run down and the place and fittings, curtains, kitchen utensils, furniture etc need to be replaced. It feels as though nothing much had been done to update the place since the seventies, although the carpet was new. The photos on their website are not a realistic depiction of this accomodation. Taps vibrated loudly each time they were turned on and although I believe the place was cleaned, it appeared to be seedy due to the aged furniture and fittings. I cannot recommend this accommodation.

Our room was dirty, smelly with laundry and cigarette box right outside, staff were rude. Motel rundown. Really unimpressed but cdnt leave as staff refused to refund our 50% deposit. Location good but just not worth it for us.
