Had the opportunity to stay for 3 nights. Awesome sweet summer vacation with the right amount of sun, sand, beach and shade. Quite an underrated property in my opinion.

excellent facilities.Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helping. we didnot experience any difficulties at all . thanks for all.We would like to0 visit agail next holidays.Actually one day was too short to enjoy the facilities.

a very opal ant resort with lotts a place to go around in the resort from the back waters to the beach, then nooks and carnies that one can sit and while away time

Taj Bekal is a wonderfully built property of theTaj Group.
The lovely cottages opening into the lush gardens and the backwaters beyond is a sight to behold. One has exclusive access to the unspoilt Kappil beach from the hotel and can relax on the shacks provided therein.
Many outdoor and indoor sports facilities are available here including cricket nets, kayaking (chargeable) in the backwaters,etc. For traversing within the property, one can either use the efficient buggies or just one of the many bicycles available here.They even arranged for a Housie with winners getting some local goodies.
The resort has multiple restaurants- By the Bay, Grills n more and the lovely Coffeeshop,Backwaters Cafe. Loved the breakfast buffet spread and efficient service of the staff, who were really helpful. Special thanks to Francis for taking care of us during breakfast, Anuja in Houskeeping for couriering clothes that were inadvertently left behind and Yash/Preet n another colleague at Reception who helped arrange transportation to the Bekal Fort.
Truely splendid stay at the hotel. Only wished the resort was not full up and we were able to get an upgrade to a plunge pool room. Nevertheless enjoyed the wonderful Taj Hospitality on offer by Mr. Miglani's team. Keep up the Great Work Guys!

We had a phenomenal experience staying at Taj Bekal over the past few days.
Things we loved:
- The personalization by your staff (your restaurant staff remembered that my dad eats less salt)
- The attention to detail by your staff (none of our instructions were forgotten, we didn't have to repeat any instructions, every small detail was thought through)
- The property and landscaping (it felt like we had stepped into heaven, so calm and serene, so green and so beautiful).
- The large rooms (so much space, calm soothing interiors, beautiful bathrooms, and heavenly bed).
- The food was fantastic (we ate all our meals at Backwater cafe, amazing selection and very good service).
We really walked away refreshed and wanting to visit your property again very soon.
