I went to this hotel on 5âth Feb to attend wedding of my close relative. Then event was at poolside. The steps going downside towards pool were broken and due to that one gentleman had a fall and had badly hurt his palm sp little finger of his left hand. Also two more guys had a fall. Cracked steps make really very poor show.
The welcome drink which was mocktail (as everyone preferred non-alcoholic drinks) was not served in proper cocktail or high ball glasses but instead whisky glasses were used.
At buffet counter napkins, plates and spoons were at one end while bowls were at the other end plus no tissue papers were given.
The food items Potato Subji and Kofta curry were simply tasteless. The potato pieces in that Potato subzi were huge; they would have easily cut smaller pieces. What should I say about Kofta curryâ¦? I strongly feel that the starters named Chinese deep fried balls were immersed in gravy and this horrible comboâs served as kofta curry. The curry with drum sticks was neither north nor south Indian style. Itâs cross the product of Gujarati and Konkani Maharashtra.
Since the menuâs Indian and all the guests were Indian everybody preferred to dine with hand and as thereâs no temporary wash basin or finger bowls everyone had to walk all the way from poolside to wash room at lobby with fingers smeared with food .This âs the stupid most act by the management
The waitress whoâs in charge of sweet dish counter didnât instruct the guests which dishes contain eggs and which were eggless so the vegan guests (sp senior citizens) who ate Brownie by mistake were upset.
Also the people at Buffet counter should learn to smile.
No good return of the money you pay
The only plus pointâs celebration at Taj is the status symbol and an ambienceâs good.

Excellent servicing this hotel this is the five star hotel fantastic they provide very nice rooms to stay this is very very luxurious Hotel have ever scene if you visit Pune I should visit this hotel...

The hotel is located at a central location and has well appointed rooms. The room though comfortable, give an old look with paint peeling and cleanliness quotient below average. The staff is good and warm. The hotel could well do with an overhaul of its facilities. Overall an average hotel.

Decent, good and clean. Good and courteous staff. Needs upgradation. Food is good. Health club has good trained staff and give a good massage. Suites are well made with steam room inside. They have a happy hour also at the bar.

It was for our anniversary husband's company had gifted dinner night at Taj. We were offered bouquet and cake from Taj. The experience was good, buffet spread was vast. I tried not to eat bread and taste the various options available. Fish starter was good along with various salad options. Thin crust pizza as well was good. Amongst the desserts mango cheesecake was yum. other items I found average.
