Nice, but

Lovely hotel and beautiful room, but a bit too big and impersonal for my taste... and itâs like living under the Hammersmith flyover. Surrounded by roads so no way of walking any where. Staff friendly but not a patch on other places we have stayed on this trip such as the Trident chain.

An invite to a family wedding in jodhpur saw us wing there from mumbai in early January. Our hosts had booked the whole hotel. Hari Mahal palace. Though 're built not many years the style is in keeping with the Rajasthan palaces. With many terraces and 95 rooms perfect for a destination Indian wedding. Not far from the airport.
From entering to a warm welcome by locally dressed staff to being taken care of at every step by everyone. Our hosts had planned everything with the manager and wedding planner yet it was the hotel who did every thing graciously. Even last minute requests.
All the meals were delicious. The venues being the lovely garden
One of the open terraces and one of the halls. Their buffet breakfast includes local dishes.
Ultimately it's the Taj group warmth and care that stands out.
Wonderful service!

Arrived at Vivanta by Taj and warmly greeted by the front desk manager and short tour of the property and its amenities then to our room. Large room and immaculately presented. Very modern with an old world feel. Super comfortable with fabulous bedding.
The pool looked amazing, unfortunately it was January and the weather gets pretty cool. The pool is lit up with beautiful lighting at night. Nice photo opportunities.
Make sure you include breakfast when you book. A huge selection with both Indian and western offerings.
Was only a 2 night stay for us. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Thanks to the whole team for a lovely stay.

I visited the hair Mahal in April and this property was very cool. I was attending a wedding at Umaid bhawan and mehrabgarh fort and staying here..
They have huge king size rooms with an awesome pool and other activities like the billiards room and the TT TABLE...
ALL IN ALL A WOBDERFULL PLACE TO STAY

Arrived at Vivanta after the long drive from Jaipur and was looking forward to a nice rest and relax with my family. The hotel provided the usual welcome you expect of hotels of this category in India. However what was different was a personal welcome from Vijay Shrikent (the General Manager of the hotel) and Gaurav Kumar (Front Office Manager). We also received a complimentary upgrade to a suite which was extremely nice in terms of its Rajasthani art fixtures, space to accomodate 2 adults and 2 children and amenities.
Throughout our stay the children also received special surprises/gifts (including cake deserts with their names on them).
Overall, a nice hotel to stay at. Thank you Vijay and Gaurav.
