Iâll suggest it this island for anybody that want a relaxing holiday but especially for who loves life underwater! As soon as you arrive you must get a pair of fins mask and snorkel and go explore around the reef around the island! And also go to the diving center and book all the dives that you can if you have diving license if you donât get one!! Youâll never regret!! The diving center staff is the most brilliant professional and fun you can ever find!! Valeria modu Mario came with us for all the dives and they made them even more special, guys you are the best!! Henrique Claudia great fun and great experts as well!
Iâll recommend the resort but Iâll mostly recommend the diving center that is in it!!

A holiday of a lifetime. We went to Maayafushi as a family holiday, as a treat for our mothers 60th birthday. We had an absolutely incredible time. The island is magnificent, it is so incredibly beautiful and the sea life is beyond amazing. I would thoroughly advise snorkelling or diving by the local reef, the abundance of sea colourful life will take your breath away. The staff were all very friendly and attentive and the rooms where lovely. Do stay in the water villas if you get the chance, its worth the upgrade!!

The staff and the island are a saving grace for this place. The exit strategy on the last day was great we had our room till an hour before departure and you can seat at the bar and have one of the free drinks available. The rooms have no ambience you can hear your neighbours snoring at night. Insist on a mosquito net for all the beds. The food is average every night and not much see food. It has to be said they are creative about recycling left overs. Being an Italian business it caters for Italians. The resort charges for the safe, bottled water (you cannot take water to your room unless in a plastic cup the size of a sample cup) every drink that is bottled, alcoholic cocktails and spirits and snorkelling and diving equipment. What was strange is that this is an all inclusive package

We have just returned after 11 amazing days at Maayafushi and all we can say is if you book anywhere else you must be mad. From the moment you arrive on the seaplane you are made to feel so very welcome and there is nothing too much trouble for anyone on the island. We stayed in a VIP bungalow and it was amazing it was so spacious with a walk-in wardrobe, massive bathroom and big outside shower the perfect place for a honeymoon.
THANK YOU will never be enough to the amazing staff right from the reception, to the ground staff (who are so proud of the island and keep it spotlessly clean) to the bar staff (who know what drink you have after the first day), to the restaurant staff and chefs, the animation team are amazing (even translating into English) and the dive team who hold your hand the whole time. One thing you have to do is snorkel with the sharks!
We would go back in a heartbeat, 11 days - no shoes, no phones, no internet just rest and relaxation - PERFECT!

Returned home from Maayafushi on June 12th. I can honestly say that I have never been to a resort where every member of staff, from the reception, animation, waiters, chefs and the cleaners were so set on delivering excellent customer service. The beach bungalow was clean comfortable and big enough.
The food was excellent, a mouth watering mix of spicy options alongside perfect salads and pasta choices.
The deserts were very moreish with beautiful fresh pineapples, papaya and bananas.
Ahmed, kevin, chiara, natalie, cristina, roberto, rasal, jalal and too many others who made our week there such a memorable one, THANK YOU. I hope we will stay in touch.
I would and do whole heartedly recommend you do visit this island.
