We had a wonderful stay for 3 nights... we tried three different rooms for all the three nights we stayed. The experience was out of the world. Every room gives you an unique experience. Cuddled in the forest, surrounded by mountains Vythiri is a blessing from the mother nature. Every morning you are woken up by the Malabar thrush... the free flowing stream gives a perfect back ground music to enhance the effect. The concert reaches it pinnacle when cicada joins in to contribute... All the rooms are very well furnished in a very elegant manner. We also got an opportunity to stay in one of the 5 tree houses which was a very exhilarating experience. The tree houses are build with absolute craftsmanship and blend into the wilderness. The staff is very welcoming and they go to the extend of tracking you to ensure you do not miss you any of your meals. There is no TV and no AC and thats really cool as the entertainment we witnessed was much better than expected. They arranged for a classical dance show and a violin show conducted by very fine artists. All in all it was a very wonderful experience and I must say I felt sad leaving the resort. The good is a very good combinations of local cuisine and other cuisines so you get to taste local food as well as do not miss your own dishes... I can go on and on... if you are looking for quite stay with abundant nature... this is the place.

Take a Car, It will take 2 to 2.30 hours from Kozhikode (Calicut) railway station ð and 2.30 to 3.00 hours from Kozhikode (Calicut) International Airport ð«.
Resort location:
Isolated (almost 3 km) from local village Vythiri and any other residential area.
Resort:
Very clean and natural ambience ðwith lots trees. The resort builded inside a forest.
You will be away from all technologies as you won't get proper signal inside ð² the house and there is no TV ðºor Wifi as well.
Excellent service from resort staffs. They are very kind and taking really a good care.
Vythiri Haven is far better and superior in all aspect. You dont hesitate to go with haven. Spacious bedroom, much bigger tub ð and bathroom. You also have Balcony and a extra guest room with sofa.
If your looking for a private pool ðââï¸ , go for âPool Villaâ. But if you spend few extra grand, you will get most luxurious Honeymoon Pool villa which is completely different world ð.
If you are looking for Premium luxury, then go for Honeymoon Pool Villa where the pool ðââï¸ will be inside your house ð¡ and the floor is transparent. Entirely different experience but you need to pay double ð°the amount when compare to Haven.
No free room service food. You have to visit restaurant to take food.

Breakfast: we can get South Indian varieties like Dosa, Pongal, Upma, Vada and you can get coffee âï¸ or tea as you like. You can also get toasted breads ðand cheese ð§ or Jam and boiled egg ð¥ and omelet ð³.
Lunch: They serve breads, Salads ð¥, Briyani, Steamed rice, Pulav, varieties of Naan, Veg and nog-veg curries, varieties of desserts
Evening Snacks: Tea or Coffee with Bajji or Pakoda or Vadai.

Ayurveda Spa by experts at an additional price of starting â¹3540. You will also get free head or foot massage ðð»ââï¸as well.

At last the most important thing
Price:
Yah, with all amazing facilities and services there is not giving any chance for improvement area as they have started almost 20 years back. However â¹15000 to 30000 per night is really quite expensive. You can get the Premium star ð« hotels in Europe and America even at less price.
So price is really high but you wonât regret after your stay at Resort.
Season:
Choose the best season it ten far most important thing to keep in mind. I prefer drizzling but not rain ð§.

We booked this resort for two days while our stay in wayanad. This place is quite inside the main road but when you enter the premises you will be mesmerized. We were greeted with there signature herbal tea which was one of the amazing experiences i took back from them. I prepare my own herbal tea and sip it daily. It has become one of my favorites and i just had it almost every time i visited the dining area.
This is a high end resort but i think the price you pay is worth it considering it includes all three meals with evening snacks. Food here is scrumptious and nicely spread. You have options from live counters as well and will be served at your table.
Service is amazing and quick, amazing hospitality from each and every department.
I still remember names of many staff members from reception, dining area, and ayurveda spa section.
A lot of perks are a complimentary head massage, games room, natural waterfall, a nature trek and the resort is nicely built.
No wifi in rooms but available at reception and game rooms, which is more than enough just to check important mails/messages or call someone.
Because of the strike we reached late at hotel and missed our lunch, when we entered the dining room for dinner they gave a walk through of the setup and available options cause we missed the lunch. I was amazed at the thought that they keep a close note of such things. We requested for a packed lunch on the day of our checkout and they provided us with an option of sandwiches and complimentary fruit basket. They also let us choose from the widespread menu options and nicely packed it for us.
We stayed in the vythiri haven and it has an amazing jacuzzi setup in the washroom. Our haven was close to the natural waterfall which was a sight to watch. They have a beautiful hanging bridge and they have very smartly placed it in between the villas and the games room/dining room. A lot of monkeys around and if you lucky you can see beautiful squirrels around.
They also have events planned almost everyday. We were part of the magic and shadow show and the live music during our stay.

I would recommend this place for anyone who needs a break and wants to be close to nature. If you travelling by flight i would recommend calicut/kozikhode airport cause its 70-80 km from this place and the closest. Bengaluru is like 7 hours drive which is not advisable.

It was our second anniversary and my husband didn't want to go to a Beach destination, so that's how we landed to Kerala. Much heard and an offbeat destination got us to Wayanad. Vythiri Resort is one of the oldest and best property in Wayanad, we booked the Haven Vythiri Villa with an in room Jacuzzi, our balcony had a river view and the melodies sound of the river was exactly what we needed. They highlight is there is no TV or Wifi in any of their rooms which was amazing and needed for addicts like us. The property has their own shows, nature walks, wildlife documentary,etc which is good enough to keep you occupied for 02 days in the resort. I highly recommend the morning walks with Mr.Jain and also the Classical dance show that shouldn't be missed. Food was delicious and we used to actually look forward to every meal that we had there. Only thing I would do differently was the complimentary Head Massage, It was not worth and was a waste of time as it was more of a champi than a massage, dint relax me or my husband

HI, we stayed for 4 days and experienced wonderful moments in the vythiri resort............ the environment was superb. The hospitality was awesome, the food was very good.
we had opted for honeymoon villa.....which was simple great to spend the sweet moments with my loved one.
