We booked 2 Night room at Mandir Palace. Room no - 208 for Day 1 & Day 2
It was a great experience with our stay at Mandir Palace. Undoubted it is wonderful property and heritage. Feel good that we stay one of heritage property which is directly belong to Jaisalmer's Maharaja.
Hotel staff is well cultured and very supportive. Although, they missed some special request but the way take it out with their apologies, it is quite warm and impressive.
Mr. Bodhraj , very spontaneous, supportive and wonderful person. They guide very well about how we planned up for City visit. Thank you very much
It is well located. between the heart of city and very near by Jaisalmer Fort. So it is easier for have market visit, fort visit by walk.
Hotel is well maintained with neat and clean environment. Food was good but yes quite expensive for those who look forward for cost.
Overall, my stay was quite comfortable and with good experience. So strongly recommend to my friends and family that once stay over there for Royal experience.

When our car pulled into the grounds of the Mandir Palace, our jaws dropped. This was a stately majestic old building made out of Jaisalmer's trademark golden sandstone and a true-blue palace in its own right. We were upgraded to the lovely golden suite.
The room was generously sized and beautiful with a separate seating area which overlooked one of the palace's courtyards. Being an old building, and one that is sited in a remote corner of India, I am forgiving of the occasional power lapses that left us in darkness, and of the poor wifi coverage which dropped signal more often than not.
Breakfast quality was not great but again, the experience of dining in a sun-dappled semi formal European dining room in an old palace makes up a lot for the shortcomings.
Because we travelled in January, we did not use the pool. We did however, explore the old durbar hall and the palace's two small museums on site. We marvelled at the intricate stonework on the walls and almost every corner was a photo op. Think blue cloudless skies, bright golden-yellow walls and a riot of red and pink bougainvillea. The hotel has a gracious feel reminiscent of old world hotels in Europe.
It was a haven in Jaisalmer that gave us a comfortable two-night stay.
Nice hotel in a very convenient location

The location is perfect. Near the fort and good restaurants.
The rooms are nice and the bed is very comfortable.
Breakfast is fine.
The WiFi is disastrous. I gave up after calling the receptionist 3 times and having them send their IT guy up who just confirmed that WiFi worked and tried to connect our phones, but it did not work. We went Restaurant Romany to get reception.
Royal Stay at city center

As soon as we entered the hotel, we could feel the charm of a heritage palace. The hotel has exquisite decor with a lot of antiques all around. The entire staff is very professional and helpful. Considering that the hotel is in the center of the town, it is near most attractions.
The hotel had arranged a cultural event during the dinner in the last week of December. We had a buffet dinner on the first night of our stay and it was disappointing. The taste of the food was average and variety of spread was disappointing. We opted for ala-carte the next evening, and it was much better. The breakfast spread is good. The view of the fort from the roof top restaurant is great!
We had booked the golden suite, which was a huge room with a big bathroom. The room has a hot air blower during winters. Everything about the room was great!
The highlight of our stay was the personal attention being given by the entire staff and especially, Mr. Bhojraj Singh from the front desk. We could see him managing the restaurant staff during dinners too.
The hotel is highly recommended to all.
If I have to suggest any improvement, then it would be the restaurant and the food. The food has scope of improvement. The breakfast service when the restaurant is full can be improved as well.
Nice heritage property

We stayed here for a couple of nights. The rooms were comfortable and nice. Bathrooms were huge. The place is right in the middle of the city, the market is accessible and other attractions close by. The staff was helpful. The entire palace is divided into three sections, royal family place, hotel and a museum. The royal family was even present during the Christmas Eve gala dinner. Nice, quiet and comfortable place.
