I along with my wife checked in on Diwali Afternoon to a warm and courteous welcome by Kishen and Sushil. Room we stayed was very well appointed and we had a Private Sit out to ourselves. Surprise to see three lounges for a ten room hotel. A TV Lounge, A quite Lounge for reading and a Pool Table Lounge. Food was home like , but a wider spread of dishes, well cooked and tasty. Enjoyed all our meals, especially the breakfast. Went for two hikes during our stay one to the Stream and one to Mukhteshwar ( A bit tough but enjoyable). All in all a great Stay. Enjoyed the quietness of the resor, surrounded by Fruits and Deodhar trees. Will be back soon.

The place is a little secluded and hard to find but once you do, it's worth it! We were a group of 23 people and stayed for 3 nights. The stay was comfortable with cottages scattered on the hillside. Housekeeping staff is courteous and looks after your needs. They have a couple of family rooms ideal for big groups looking to relax and spend some quality time. The hospitality and the food is their USP. The kitchen staff prepares food as per your preferences and is at your service at all times. All in all, it's a great place to unwind and relax with your family or friends. Looking forward to revisiting it!

Bobâs Place is well located - âon the roadâ, as the phrase goes, a few minutes walk from the main Nathuakhan bazaar. What may have been a few shops a few years ago has now grown to quite a market; fortunately though, neither the din of the road nor the crowd of the market impinge upon your stay at Bobâs Place.
The rooms are actually designed by way of independent cottages constructed on a hill-side, affording views of the hill-range opposite.
One of the earliest properties in the area, before the on-set of the current construction boom, Bobâs Place is today a part of the WelcomHeritage chain: so expect Star Standards in terms of your room, of service & of housekeeping while taking in the air & atmosphere of the Kumaon hills !

My family and I spent the last one week at Bobâs Place at Nathua Khan & we can safely say it was our BEST ever vacation in the last decade! Our vacations usually revolve around traveling abroad, spending time in luxury hotels, sightseeing and shopping and the most amazing part of the break at Bobâs Place was that we did none of that :)
All we spent time doing was bonding as a family, playing pool, TT and carom, sleeping, going for long walks through the forests, reading, star gazing and eating absolutely delicious food! Not to mention drinking amazing cocktails around the bonfire every evening & enjoying the cool, crisp and absolutely fresh air... something that is impossible to find anywhere else in India.
Bobâs Place is truly a home away from home! Beautifully done up with lovely villas, each of which is unique in terms of tasteful aesthetics, really cute rooms, gorgeous views of the Himalayas, fantastic staff and really amazing home cooked sumptuous food. (The food was really a huge highlight and thank god for all the walks else we would have put on a few kilos!).
Bobâs Place is an epitome of bliss and it truly symbolizes what a true vacation really should be... spending quality time with your loved ones, playing with your kids, finding that special time for yourself to read, think, sleep and get lost by the woods, walking down to the stream, bonding with nature, seeing a sky full of stars at night and truly discovering another side of you.
I have never felt more in touch with nature & never realized how pure air can really be, nor seen so many stars at night! My family and I just didnât feel like leaving the place and we were heartbroken when our vacation came to an end. We are going back soon and look forward to visiting it again to experience the snow in winters and the amazing colors of the blooming flowers in spring!
If you are looking for a blissful vacation, look no further and pack your bags and head to Bobâs Place to experience magic in terms of a place that is truly heaven on earth!

We didn't find anything great about the place apart from the the scenery. The staff are very helpful with very least knowledge about the local places. The place is bit cramped, if you are traveling in a group you would be asked to sit separately as they can not combine the tables because of lack of space in the restaurant and food was just ok.
