I am writing this review about the First Experience I am presently having at this Hotel.I am waiting for check in from last 1.5 hours but still nothing seems to be moving.
I believe booking done by Travel portals are not being prioritised here in fact if you have booked hotel from leading Travel portals such as MakeMyTrip etc you will be the last to be given room as you are a prepaid guest and have already paid major payment in advance.
I have seen couple of rooms were allotted before me even when I was first to come at hotel,on asking reason the answer came as their rooms were of different category(Common Excuse)This on the fact that I have requested for early check at reception as I was suffering from major headache.
I am really surprised that even medicines were not offered on asking.
I have stayed in major hotels in all the metros Being a Business Traveler I can not give the rate check in offered by hotel more then 1.
I am here for three days between 7th to 9th feb,will share second part of review shortly.

Nothing about this hotel justifies the price you pay (approx Rs 8000 per night). The look, feel, service, maintenance, amenities, nothing is 5-star. Only the prices are. The furniture seems to have been hurriedly painted with brown paint in lieu of polish, fused bulbs have not been replaced (not even after we pointed it out), the sambar gets watery as the breakfast progresses, checkout takes forever, the date and time settings on the phone havenât been updated, the front office staff leaves a lot to be desired in terms of efficiency and approachability, the napkins need some serious cleaning... You get the drift. The hotel has location in its favour and seems to be cashing in on some past glory. Look for a different place in Bhopal.

This place is located on the higher elevation compared to some of the other places in the city, this gives a beautiful view of the lake and the city. Initially, I was really disappointed with the room I got as it was not the lake view room (requested for the lake view room). But, good service, helpful and courteous staff and delicious food had overcome our disappointment. The gym area wasn't maintained the way it should. Else, everything was nice.

I keep visiting Bhopal however it was my first stay at the hotel. It's a heritage property full of warmth. Much better than nearby hotels. Rooms are nice and comfortable and service is good. Food is excellent. Nicely kept lawns and greenery add color to this excellent hotel.

A great heritage hotel with friendly and quick services. Food is tasty and reasonably priced. Maintenance of rooms is good. Overall a very hygienic and great ambience. The open garden breakfast is compelling and enjoyable
