The property is bit old, but it compensates with the location. I have stayed at many ITC hotels in India but Vizag ITC hotel outstands with the excellent service. Not just by one staff, excellent service attitude by every single staff at this property, right from the front desk, Gym, Dining and room service. I am from Australia and i don't see such service attitude with similar properties even in Australia.

The staff made me very welcome. They helped me out on several occasions with various changes in my plans. Of particular note was Shivaramakrishnan at the Marcoplolo lounge who was very friendly, attentive and extremely courteous, anticipating my needs. Shiva (Kumar?) of the IT department went out of his way to figure out ways to help me with important documents that i needed to review, sign, scan and mail. He was not only extremely efficient, but without grudge he spent over an hour helping me out and helped meet my deadline. Finally, the travel desk (name i cannot remember) went out of his way to arrange for my airline tickets and get me to the airport. Without his help and tenacity, i would not have made it to Kochi, which was a last minute change in my itinerary and i had to get all of it done and be at the airport, while there was only 2 hours to the flight.

Stay at welcome was very comfortable. The ambiance throughout the hotel is good. The sea view along the pool side was good. The dinning experience and the approach of the staffs are welcoming and friendly.
A suggestion for improvement:
The room amenities could be modernized.

The best stay we have had in a long time. Courteous and caring staff. Excellent food and outstanding hospitality. Delightful speciality restaurants. Special mention of Chef Rajiv and Chef Malhotra who could completely satisfy the taste buds. Thanx to Mr Pradeep Misra, for taking such great of all our requirements. And a special thanx to the GM Mr Rajesh for personalising the whole stay and making the experience a most memorable one.

We went to the restaurant ocenic pavilion to celebrate my friend's birthday. We enjoyed a lot there.. Mr Krishna & Mr julius has done a great job... It was a really great experience... Keep it up guys... Thanks a lot
