Lovely hotel easily serviced by buses or taxis from the airport.
Lovely central location, so close to harbour and easy walking distance to everywhere.
Staff very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a suite and we absolutely loved it.
Just couldnt praise the hotel staff and services enough.
Well furnished, modern, quality products, very comfortable bed.So convienent to shops etc also for going out at night.
Just hated leaving it.

The hotel is a good location near to the museum, shops and there are tourist tour buses leaving opposite the entrance ( I picked up one for the Weta studio tour). The room was clean and comfortable with an iron and board, good hairdryer, kettle and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a laundry room on the 5th floor. There is no air con so the room was too hot - but then I stayed during unusually hot weather. I opened the windows which overlooked the car park and did get a little noise but then it was quiet. There is up to 1GB free WiFi. Reception and the bar are light and airy.

I need to be in Wellington for work at least monthly and often weekly. I have had issues with flights, weather and sudden changes to plans due to meeting timeframes etc. The West Plaza looks after me and takes care of shifts in accomodation bookings, often finding a space for me last minute and when there is a high demand. The reception staff are always lovely, the resturant and bar staff fun and helpful. The rooms are always clean and pleasant. I will continue to stay here even though I have a lot of choice because at the West Plaza I feel like I am family. Plus of course it is so close to Karen Walker, Kate Sylvester, World, Cuba Mall and Courtney Place. Thank you to everyone at the West Plaza for making my time away from home as close to being at home as it can be.

We stayed at the West Plaza hotel for two nights beginning of December 2017. The staff is very friendly and helped with everything. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was very tasty and versatile. The only negative thing was that we had to pay for the parking, this could be included in the price.

Ideally situated for Cuba St and the CBD. We stayed one night and found it ideal for our purpose. The room was clean and tidy. There was a coolin fan for the heat. The room also had everything we needed (iron, hairdryer, drinks, fridge). The corridors are a little stark but that's just styling and subjective. Parking is limited but available. We would use the hotel again.
