Not a great room, not an overly friendly welcome either.
Room needed updating,beds like metal camp beds, low quality mattress, outdated decor, the windows did not open, had been sealed shut so no way to get any air or ventilation in room including bathroom (not great to get rid of smells). Bathroom tiny. Wifi kept dropping.
~Breakfast was good, nicely cooked.

Our room was clean but the ceiling was peeling and no heat on.Curtains were very light and didnt meet in middle.Bed was good and pillows comfy.Television was awful no reception at all.Breakfast was adequate,quality was more value especially the bacon and sausage.Staff seemed very young and inexperienced.Ok for a night stay.Shower was a joke,no pressure at all.

Well looked after Staff very good when I asked for more tea and coffee no problem.Breakfast very good and nicely cooked.I would go again as I liked the views from the Dining room.Good value for the money.

In all fairness the breakfast was edible and the host was a very nice man so an extra star for that.
The room however was a tiny box with a single bed with a creaky metal frame. The shower had mold in it and the floor was filthy with dust and cobwebs. The carpet had a significant rip in it and i was disturbed throughout the night by creaks, bumps and moans coming from what i can only presume was the undead.

This is a welcoming and friendly guest house. Although its down at the quiet southern end of the front its not too far too walk before your in the center. Rooms have anything you need food they only do breakfast but lots of good food can be found around the town would recommend a stay here.
