Wedding Day

On 9th of December 2017 attended my friends Wedding Leanne and Gary , needless to say I had read the reviews here but held an open mind with regards to the negative feedback previously
written . I booked a room which was supposed to be discounted and was charged £68.00 , plus a further £8.50 if I required breakfast .
This was my first visit to this establishment , on arrival the grounds were pleasant albeit with a winter coating of snow , on checking in , the reception was not staffed , I can only presume do to there being a wedding on and it was all hands on deck so to speak .
Got checked in and on going into my room was surprised to see how tired and dated it was , I had a lovely view of a roof and that was it from the room window . Still , I thought never mind itâs Lees and Garyâs day no bother ! Went back downstairs and went to bar £3.80 for a spurge can of Guinness , cider £4.00 per pint , and a mediocre £5.99 bottle of red being sold for £17.50 per bottle awesome mark up !! Single dark rum and coke just short of a fiver . Food was reasonable although took some time to come out between courses .
Needless to say I still enjoyed the wedding but a lot of work needing done to the premises to justify the bar prices , the staff were on the whole very friendly ,
Would I stay here again NO .

I feel very saddened to write a bad review but after been in customer hospitality & relations myself for years. I found my self leaving a wedding very disappointed .
A bottle of wine was bought to which the label of cost was left on at £5.50 it was then sold at £15.99, I understand people charge corkage but please remove the label.
Then when it came to shower the next morning, there was lack of water pressure and heat. Breakfast arrived with uncooked eggs! I could continue but to finish my visit, Jackie spoke to me in such disgrace that I had to walk away as she got too heated!
I really wouldnât recommended this venue. AVOID!!!! At all costs!!!!

I spent a couple of nights at Wincham Hall recuperating and I couldn't of been looked after better. The staff were very friendly and more than helpful. Although Wincham Hall doesn't do evening meals there is plenty of choice around and about. I decided to have a sandwich in my room one of the nights and was even offered plates and cutlery. Whatever I needed it was no trouble at all. Thank you for everything.
A wonderful Wedding Day!

We got married in here in August, and I don't think there's any way our day could have gone any better! Sue, the wedding co-ordinator, was absolutely fantastic, everything was perfectly organised and timed right through to the end of the night. The food was delicious too, everyone commenting how tasty the evening buffet was!
The wedding chapel is beautiful, and the gardens ideal for photographs. Jackie, the manager, and all her staff were friendly and welcoming, and served with smiles all night long.
We've said several times how we'd love to have that day again, and we wouldn't change a thing. Would highly recommend!
