We were 15 people in a group and the service is extremely good. We all like the location and ambiance of the resort. Worth to stay. Food quality is also good. Staff of the resort is also with full of courtesy.

Without doubt one of the favourite resort I stayed during my Madikeri visit. All respect for the entire staff who does a great job there, a true sample of excellent hospitality. We stayed there in madikeri market and this was our first visit and the resort is superb. Best food we ever had, villas are fantastic, spot less, very set up. They have a small pool and but it was very good to spend time with family.

I just booked a villas in Woodstock Villas and found that the villas are awesome as well as the food is tremendous. we enjoyed a lot . staffs are very helpful, linen are spotless, nice garden. they also have very good swimming pool and indoor game too.
Will definitely visit the resort in my next holidays.

We booked a Standard room in WoodStock Villa Resort and it was the worst lodging experience we had in last 10 years. All travel websites show photos of their villas (both exterior and interior) so we booked thinking the Standard room will be of same quality but smaller in size. Nowhere it said that Standard rooms are part of a different building and rooms are of inferior quality. Neither there were pictures of the Standard room or the building which has those rooms.
We were shocked when we saw the building which has Standard rooms and the interior of those rooms, which BTW are way overpriced for what they offer. When we tried to discuss this with the hotel manager and the owner, they both were very rude and kept putting the blame on the travel website through which we had made the reservation. We checked with them if we could upgrade to Villa rooms for incremental charges and they lied by saying that all Villa rooms are booked though some seemed to be unoccupied.
One of the rooms we got had a weird smell and they left their unwanted/unusable stuff in the other room. The building, which has the Standard rooms, was really pathetic with dirty walls, unclean open areas, lots of insects and unwanted items lying around the common and roof area (one of our rooms was on the roof). They seem to have tied with the owner of that building and marketing their rooms as part of Woodstock Villas, by showing pictures of villas, which is completely misleading and unethical.
If you want to see actual pictures of Standard room, please look at the pictures of the room and building uploaded by me. That will show the reality and uncover the unethical practice followed by the management. If you still will like to go ahead and stay there, be my...sorry...their guest :) There are a lot of better options out there for the price you will pay for staying at this property.

Rooms are good for a family of 4. Duplex concept but drawback is, it has only single bathroom. Ambience was good, food choices in the restaurant was acceptable. Chef Gautam was very helpful and offered customized menu.
