Family Trip to Shimla

We family of 4 members Husband + Wife + 2 boys (13yrs & 7yrs) stayed in this property for 3 nights from 12-Jan-2018 to 15-Jan-2018. We like the property and very customer friendly service. The staff welcome us with smile when we reached to hotel. On day one they lit up the fire in out room which is complementary. Then I received the call from reception for dinner. All three days they serve us with excellent gesture. Room is specious and interior is like traditional old style.
Bathrooms is clean.
Also they allow us to seat in various other room even with kids. The hotel is walkable to mall road.
We enjoyed every moment of stay in hotel. Thanks to all the staff for serving delicious and tasty food.

Heritage stay

We had a wonderful stay. We planned this place after one of our close friend suggested to try here.. Palace.. Truly a heritage stay..
Among the hill stations of himachal, shimla is the one I keep at the bottom of list because of its popularity and congestion.. Woodville palace made our stay memorable with a completely different experience..
The palace belongs to one of the Raja family of himachal, who still stay in one part of this location.. They have a wonderful garden around.. A old bar with many collections of the 1940 s. The food place has limited options..
We had a noisy surroundings till 10 pm as three different parties were going on simultaneously.. It was heaven in the morning ðð
Poorly maintained Hotel

Location is not good. Needs maintenance. Food is average. Stayed there for two nights in the first week of December 2016. A heritage hotel with lots of photographs of Royalties. Serving time for food is average 40 minutes.
A Regal Experience

A hotel created out of an erstwhile palace, the place has a quaint aura with modern comforts. The decor complements and retains the regal glory whilst accommodating the appliances of today. The place is centrally located on Raj Bhavan Road which lures the patrons in the small hours of morning for a walk along the quiet avenue. The buffet spread during breakfast and dinner is adequate and tasty. The staff is prompt and courteous. Highly recommended
