Had a pleasant stay with beautiful ambiance , with good food and hospitality at its best. Away from the noise , quiet peaceful and has a beautiful view . Two min walk to boulevard . Rooms are beautiful and cozy too

Upon check in, arrived into the room. Intercom was not working. Changed the room and placed the luggage. Asked for the toiletries as they were missing. They only provide you towels and soap. No toilet rolls provided to wipe off toilet seat to maintain basic hygiene. Upon, being asked to Manager he responded we dont provide toilet rolls. We requested him to provide some tissue papers but he refused saying you cannot use tissues in toilet. Finally, we asked for some newspapers for it, he refused again but somehow, he provided us with some newspapers. I wonder how this hotel is categorized as 3 star?
Anyways, We came back to the room after sight seeing and found no lights working.
Another (2nd) room changed in a day. At 10, Electricity went off at in the night and temperature was 1 degree. Power generator was turned on but sadly their electric blankets were not working on generator. We dialed reception from our personal mobile for some help since their intercom was not working. But we were bluntly denied for any help. Rather they said you have to bear it till 12 am, which was around 2 hrs.
When we realized it is real difficult to spend a night here, afterwards, we raised a complaint with MMT support for assistance. Immediately, the drunk manager arrived into our room and started an argument that how come you can call MMT and complain it. He justified there are 6 other rooms hired and those customers are not complaining about electric blankets or warm rooms. How can you? Lately, he provided us with a room heater but the overall experience was too disappointing and pathetic at this hotel.
Manager of this hotel was highly unprofessional & misbehaved with us.

A great experience altogether. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this amazing hotel. I would recommend this place to people looking for a peaceful stay with family as well as friends. Hospitality is top notch.

I stayed in this hotel with my friends for a night.The way they served us was very nice and beautiful.Amazing hospitality, good service and owner of this hotel is a very kind and friendly person. Will come again InshaAllah.

After Amarnath Darshan, on our way back, we were in Srinagar during the recent difficult times. We stayed at Hotel York and we had a wonderful experience - service, food, ambience and the hospitality! We were treated very special by the owner and the staff. The hotel was very nice and comfortable! It had a lovely garden with beautiful flowers! We highly recommend this hotel and enjoy your stay!!
