I come back to this hotel over and over again; simple, basic, clean family run hotel at a great location, nice rooms, secure space to put your bike, walking distance from all the amenities you may wish for but far away enough from nightlife noise. Breakfast is simple but fresh and plentiful. Highly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in Noordwijk.

Really I loved this little place. So much more charm and homey than large hotels. The owner and his son were so nice and the breakfast was wonderful. Nothing fancy, but very homey and sweet. I had to leave very early in the morning to go to the airport and they fixed me a " to go" breakfast bag of goodies and left it outside my door, which was much appreciated. Yes, the room was small, and for a big person they may have a time getting in and out of the shower, but manageable. The room was nice and very clean, and I would stay there again. The only thing is that I was on the second floor and there was no lift and the stairs in the Netherlands are very narrow and very steep! One of the owners carried my suitcase for me however. If stairs are a problem you may want to ask for a room on the first floor which is only one flight up and not two. But for the young and hardy I am sure they wood be fine. I recommend staying at Zorn if you want that local experience. It is also a 5 minute walk to the beach.

I stayed with my elderly grandmother, we had a very comfortable stay. The owners were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice, local produce and plenty of room in the restaurant. The beach, shops and lots of restaurants is only a 10 minute walk away. The room was fine for the price you pay, the shower was brilliant but we were worried about the water not draining away quick enough, so our showers weren't relaxing... We also would of preferred a kettle, but there was only a coffee machine, you could use it to make tea but it never came out hot. We would stay again for the convenience of the location to the very beautiful Keukenhof gardens, being so close to the beach and also being able to go to the Hague, Amsterdam and other places so so easily.
Decent hotel, not the best experience

Let me start off by saying that this hotel is very good to stay at for the price you're paying. Breakfast is very good, it's within walking distance to the beach and you can park for free in the neighborhood.
There were just a couple of things that happened that didn't make our experience as good as it could have been. On the way getting to the hotel, there apparently was a event going on and the street in which the hotel was located was blocked off by fences. We drove around not knowing how to get to the hotel and eventually (still not sure how) ended up on the other side of the fence, right in the middle of the event. Luckily for us, the event just ended and so we drove up to the hotel, finding out we couldn't park in the street beside the hotel that was blocked off too. We parked our car, came to the front desk (who was a friendly young woman) and asked what the blockage was all about). She apologized and said they expected the street to be open but recently heard it wouldn't be. Else we would had been notified. In any case, I was happy we finally arrived.
We booked our hotel through booking.com and selected we wanted a double bed (1 bed for both of us to sleep in). I kindly reminded them about this request in the comment section when booking the room. When we arrived we got a room with twin beds (two single beds) even though the hotel was far from fully booked. (I only bumped into one couple on the way up and didn't hear anyone pass our door when we stayed there). At that stage I was just too exhausted from trying to find our way to the hotel that I didn't want to complain about this, but I couldn't help feeling disappointed as we had requested it quite clearly..
The bathroom is a bit on the small side and we couldn't quite figure out the windows (we had to keep it open with a book).
In any case, the hotel is decent but II had hoped they payed more attention to requests being made..
