Amazingly cheap and close to everywhere by tram and metro as well as walking. Hotel not so good but only for sleeping is enough. Attention for nights thursday, friday and saturday because of very noisy from outside. Other nights are good for sleeping.

Rooms are okay and the location is excellent for this price, but apparently it was for a reason. The restaurant in the ground floor turns into a nightclub at night. Our room window was facing the inner open space of the building where the disco locates in the ground floor, and no matter how firmly you close the window, there's no isolation and it was like the amplifiers were right next to our pillows till 5am, no exaggeration.

The location is amazing, it's at the end of a nice street next to all the restaurants you would want to visit. However, the space outside your window is the backyard of a club, so it can get a bit noisy. Slept here from Monday to Tuesday though, so it wasn't so bad.
The girl's shared bathroom is kept clean, there weren't many other guests while we visited. You have to pay in cash, in HUF, but there is an ATM right next to the entrance of the hostel.
The wi-fi works fine. The owner is okay, not sure if he was strict or simply joking.. The pillows are useless lumps, but the mattresses okay. Spacious rooms and it's cheap. The closest metro station is a 10 minute walk away.

Well, the location is the best of all the hostels i've been in Budapest (21), you practically are in the center of the city, 1-2 minutes (on foot) from the chain bridge and 5 to the nearest metro station. The rooms and bathrooms are nice and clean. The olny problem that exists with this hostel is the loud music at night from thursday to saturday, but honestly i didn't care about it because i am a heavy sleeper. I give it 5 star for the location, 4 stars for the rooms and bathrooms and 1 for the noise, but if the music doses not bother you it's a great hostel !

The rates were great, the location even better and the room was clean and spacious.
The furniture was quite basic and cheap, the mattresses were of low quality but in decent enough condition and the common bathroom was kept reasonably clean.
What makes me not value all of the above so much however was the fact that the room overlooked a courtyard that was used as the dance area of a night club and the music was blasting every night until about 3-4 am if I remember correctly. Sleeping was absolutely impossible even with earplugs. We haven't just heard the music as if it was played right beside us through the two sets of windows in the room but felt the vibrations through the walls and the bed.
To sum it up, only come here if you are not planning on going to bed before the early hours of night and you will not be disappointed.
